Game Overview:

A Link to the Past was a game that revolutionized the Zelda series. Regarded by many as one of the best Zelda games ever, and a classic to many others, this game added many new features. This game once again shifted to a bird's eye view. It adopted Zelda II's magic meter, but returned to the normal system of hearts, instead of a bar and lives. While recieving all of these from its predecessors, it also introduced the revolutionary use of heart pieces to gain more hearts. And you still recieved heart containers at the end of each dungeon. The game also released many new items still used today. One of which was the Hookshot, and another was the Big Key.

Some other great features of the game was its music, and its graphics. It had THE greatest sounding music, especially for its time and video game cartridge type. And it would take pages to go into the awesomeness of the graphics. They weren't choppy, they didn't skip, and they just fit the feel of the game perfectly. They made for epic boss battles and just heighting the sense of tension, accompanied by the music.

The game was a large game in contrast to the others. The land of Hyrule contained eleven extensive dungeons that had very unique puzzles, which made the game fun each time you played through it. The game also revelead new enemies, which always kept everything interesting. In addition, there were two different versions of the overworld to explore, the light and dark worlds. Each landmark was in the same place but was remarkably different.
