Game Overview: BS-Zelda
was the first of three games that were made available for download
through the Satellaview attachment for the Super Famicon in
Japan, and were basically just re-made versions of the original
Legend of Zelda. Unfourtunately, this game was never brought
to America, and it is impossible
to play it on an emulator. The
games were up for download onto a special attachment that
required writeable game cartridges. You would download the
game from Nintendo's satallite staright to a special empty
game cartridge you would use to play the game. It
was followed by two more BS-Zelda games: BS The Legend of
Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets and BS The Legend of Zelda: Triforce
of the Gods. All three of the games featured the same gameplay
tactics as The Legend of Zelda for NES, just completely redone
overworlds and dungeons. All of the enemies, and the strategies
to defeat them, remain the same. For more on these games visit The
BS Zelda Homepage.
