Game Overview: The
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, which was released in October,
2000, was believed by many to be a direct sequel to the Ocarina
of Time. It features the same 360 degree play that Ocarina of
Time had almost the same graphics. It was, in my opinion, not
as good as some of the other games. But
Majora's Mask has earned its keep. The game strayed a bit
from the Zelda roots, but it was a good game none the less.
It did not mention so much about Princess Zelda and the Triforce,
but there are some hints about them. There
is some controversy about whether or not Majora's Mask is
the sequel to Ocarina of Time. There is much evidence to prove
that it is the sequel, and not a lot to prove it is not. Some
evidence to prove it is is here: 1.
Nintendo says it is 2. Link has the Ocarina of Time 3. It shows him (in the beginning) with Princess Zelda 4. Link has Epona 5. Link has his signature green tunic he got while he was in Kokiri Forest I could go on and on with evidence, but the only evidence that it
is not a sequel that I could find as the excuse that Link does not have
the same sword and shield.
Anyway, the graphics
of this game were the same style as Ocarina of Time, but with
less graphic glitches. It made the game feel more life-like
and alive. Majora's Mask had the best graphics ever in a game
made for the Nintendo 64.
