Over the course of Zelda Capital's existence, it has been priveledged to be reviewed and awarded multiple times. The awards Zelda Capital has received as well as the reviews we have gotten are listed below. March 1, 2008 - The 2008 Golden Ocarina for Most Aspiring Site The first award we ever won was in the 2008 Golden Item Awards, hosted by Exploding Deku Nut. The GIAs are an annual occurrence at EDN, and they are known throughout the community, and very well respected. Darth Citrus, webmaster of EDN, had this to say about Zelda Capital: "In a day an age where Zelda sites come and go, I’m looking for a site that is dedicated to sticking around; a young site that is constantly adding content and improving itself. A site that if focused on becoming a well known and respected member of the Zelda community. This year Zelda Capital is that site." You can read the full write up here. January 26, 2009 - Zelda Portal's Review of Zelda Capital The first review Zelda Capital ever received was by Zelda Portal, a website that specializes in reviewing Zelda fan sites. Zelda Capital received a 3.9 out of 5, which is pretty good in my opinion. Webmaster of Zelda Portal Kinopio had this to say about Zelda Capital: "Zelda Capital covers many aspects of the Zelda series and exceeds at all of them." You can read the full review here. January 26, 2009 - RPG Reviewers' Review of Zelda Capital The second review Zelda Capital got was by Afterburn of RPG Reviewers, and it really showed Zelda Capital areas it had to work at. Zelda Capital got a 3.5 out of a 5 star system. RPG Reviewers grades each area specifically, and Zelda Capital got an 8 out of 10 in the area of administration, a 7 out of 10 in activity, an 8 out of 10 for friendliness, a low 6 out of 10 for layout use, and a 7 out of 10 for content quality. Overall the review turned out well, with Afterburn remarking that Zelda Capital "is definitely one of the biggest resources for the Legend of Zelda community!" You can read the full review here. August 12, 2009 - The 2009 Rembrant Award for Most Visually Appealing Site
Zelda Capital won its second award in the 2009 Lozzie Awards, hosted by LegendofZelda.com. These were the first annual Lozzie Awards, and Zelda Capital was privileged to have won the Rembrant Award for the being the most visually appealing site. Xizor, webmaster of LoZ.com claimed that "Zelda Capital is, quite simply, stunning." You can read the full write up here. |
